Notes from an incomplete journey is an unique book containing five etchings, La Petite Mort 10, 6, 7, 8, 14 and five pages with text.
The texts are quotes from several 17th and 18th Century travel books which I inherited from my father who was an antiquarian bookseller in The Hague.
Although the texts may appear fanciful today they are factual descriptions.
Conversely the images, even though they seem implausible, do depict a kind of reality one encounters as visitor to foreign lands.
