With the arrival of Spring the winterhard Goddesses of Fate have mellowed and some of my long time endeavours have been favourably smiled on.
Firstly I am super pleased to announce that the Ashmolean Museum has acquired a complete set of my The Crying Game prints.
And for those of you who want to see the prints here in London, Julian Page will be showing them at the London Original Print Fair in May.
Secondly my handmade book, Kitab al Fihrist/ Book of Lists, after a catalogue from the 10th C Baghdad bookseller Ibn al Nadim, has been selected for the Kaleid 2016 Collection and will be shown in Oslo and London.
Drawing and painting has been my medium of choice these last few months and some exiting developments are taking place.
I will be joining Jessica Carlisle gallery in London and my first showing with them will be in June this year.
Finally for those who haven’t gotten around to it yet; last opportunity to see my print in the Facing History exhibition at the V&A, the show closes in 5 days time.
This is all from me now,
Hope to see you with a spring in your step
Marcelle
