It has been a long, lazy summer and even my paintbrush seems too hot to handle.
At the same time the heat lets our imagination move around obstacles instead of fighting those recurrent windmills, a bit of a luxury break.

Nevertheless there have been some exciting developments brewing, first of all I will be joining Bo.Lee Gallery, starting with a group show late autumn this year and followed by a solo show planned for Spring 2019. I am raring to go.

For a gallery artist upstairs show this month De Queeste Art selected some spicy early paintings, some of which have not seen the light of day for some years and who are, like Snow-white, eager awaiting that awakening kiss.

And finally to celebrate my Dutch connection, Soho House Amsterdam which just opened has, courtesy of Jessica Carlisle Gallery, added my small painting Self with Dutch collar to their permanent collection.

There are more events planned for the coming year, watch this space.

With best wishes, Marcelle
