Summer has disappeared into Autumn and, in keeping with the seasons, my laissez-faire attitude has turned to full fledged activity.
Unsettled by the wars and saddening stream of refugees who for the grace of could be any of us. I have started on a series of drawings into etchings which highlights the grief we are constantly creating by dividing people into them and us. Part of this new series,The Crying Game, will get a peak preview in Berlin Project Art Fair and in London’s Multiplied Art Fair.
For awhile now I have noticed that several dealers/curators are creating very interesting galleries presentations at home. This month I am one of the participating artists for two inaugural shows: Salon 1030 in Brussels and Bo. Lee gallery in London.
Plans for October include my first time showing with David Turvey Prints in Bath and for those of you who will be in Berlin don’t miss the Autumn Group show at 55Limited.
And don’t forget, the V&A‘s wonderful Facing History exhibition will be on for awhile longer.
Hope to see you here, there or somewhere…….
all best, Marcelle
