Often when times are complicated I need to draw a lot.
But never before I have made drawings as a independent piece of work.
My friend, the print dealer Julian Page, suggested I try my hand at it and after overcoming my initial reluctance the floodgates have opened.
Those who had a sneak preview of my drawings have been enamoured by them and to my delight I have been offered several opportunities to show them.
In a few days time they will have their first outing at Herrick Gallery in Mayfair.
Following that I will show some drawings, together with several new paintings in my inaugural show with Jessica Carlisle gallery.
Hot on the heels will be my first of two solo shows of drawings, first with De Queeste Art in Belgium and then, last but not least with Julian Page Fine Art in his pop-up gallery in Clerkenwell.
Surely enough activity to keep me out of mischief and perhaps inspire you to make it into a kind of pilgrimage to see them all.
Look forward to see you….
